A day at Leighton Moss
The three of us decided a day in the country was in order. Or... Trees and I did and Lauren came along anyway.
Visited the RSPB at Leighton Moss. Lots of coffee, food and paddling through water to spot some lovely birds.
The impossible has happened. John proposed to Carol on Xmas morning.
What a great day for Carol... Xmas, Birthday and Engagement. Here are the happy couple from our 70s BBQ in the summer...
Clwydian 3 hour run
Got a little carried away today. Managed a 3 hour run over the Clwydian Mountains. Would have been further but bad light stopped play.
Have put on 5 lbs over Xmas. Yikes. Back over 15 stone. Going to have to lose that again and quickly.
Look where I ran to.
Georgie is born
Hooray, after a few weeks of labour Great Niece Georgie was born Friday weighing in over 6lbs.
As you can see, sister Aimie is over the moon.
Congratulations to mum and dad.
Got a disease
Yes, I have caught that the well know disease off my daughter...

Lauren has suffered with it from a very early age. I for the last 2 mornings have set the alarm for 6am to get an hour in the gym before work and have twice caught the disease.
Not good.
Hope I do not get that other disease Princess Lauren suffers from...

Young Dan
I have to mention Young Dan. He is just 16 and has gone up Snowden, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis this year. How many sixteen year olds do you know who take the time to walk to the shops never mind do 10,000 feet in three climbs? He never complains, he pulls his weight. He is a pleasure to be with. he is such a nice person to be with. He also followed me around some very, very hard trail races. You want to try running for over 2 hours over some of Britain's most difficult terrain. Tremendous mental strength and courage! My hat comes off to him.
