Fit as a fiddle

The heel and knee soreness has gone this morning so I am fit to rock and roll again. It is amazing how quickly the body can recover even at my old age.

Off for a spot of birdwatching this morning before we get Trees back to the hospital for the latest check ups.

Carol had her car broken in to at Pats last night. What a pain. Kids DVD and a camera went missing amongst other things.

Out another night

Got a call from the hospital, Trees did not need to go back in today. Took the opportunity to go over to the RSPB reserve at Conwy followed by a quick sprint around Betsw Y Coed.

Lovely day, great opportunity to watch birds and take photographs.

In and out of Hospital

Trees went in to hospital this morning then was released again this afternoon. Going back in to tomorrow evening to prepare for a Barium meal and X-ray Thursday. From this they will decide to either operate or pass her over to a general medical team.

Trees is generally finding it difficult with the pain but would rather be at home than in a ward full of strangers.

Went out for run this evening across the local farm fields. I was supposed to do some hard hill sessions. Managed 8 before I got distracted by a Buzzard, a Swans nest and low flying House Martins. Ended up going for a light run taking in the sun and beauty of the late evening. Fantastic.

My legs are tingling from stings but who cares.

Fingers crossed for Trees

Trees went back in this evening to prepare for a Barium meal and X-ray Thursday. From this they will decide to either operate or pass her over to a general medical team. Always sad to leave her behind. At least the mad lady had left so she can be left in peace.

I popped out for a cyle around the local lanes when I returned. Tried out a few lanes I have not ventured down before. The midges were out in force. Nearly gagged one was so big when hit the back of my throat. Yuk!

Freedom for Trees

Trees had her Barium meal and X-ray today and the Consultant reviewed the findings.

The great news is that Trees does not need surgery and has been released from hospital. Hooray!.

Not sure Trees is still 100% fit but the impending surgery is not required. Trees will now see a bowel specialised as an outpatient.

Each day Trees gets a little better. Fingers crossed in continues that way.

Hopefully a happy ending.

Walk in the woods

We went out for a walk in the woods tonight. Lots of watching wildlife and taking piccies. The swan on it's nest kept very still to ensure we got a great picture of it.

Trees went shopping later on just because she could. I went for a cycle to Bangor on Dee and Holly Bush just because I could.
